Rekey Locks Service

The choice to rekey locks is an alternative to having locks replaced. The main part of a lock (where the key is inserted) consists of a cylinder. This cylinder is configured to accept a single key (or duplicates thereof). Therefore, if a different key is inserted, it won’t work.

As locksmiths, we can remove the cylinder and replace it with a different one. This will mean the rest of the lock remains the same, but the key used to open it will be different.

If your lock has previously malfunctioned, you may need to replace the lock instead. However, in functioning locks, the ability to rekey locks is a cost-effective solution to increase security.
